LA Clippers Win +2.5LA Clippers @ IND Pacers
The Indiana Pacers (18-33) will host the Los Angeles Clippers (26-26) following their 132-105 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. The Pacers, who are 4-11 since the start of the new year, have lost 4 of their last 5 games by an average margin of 18.3 points. Indiana has had 5 separate players lead the team in scoring in each of their last 5 games and will continue to play without Miles Turner (ankle) TJ McConnell (wrist), Malcolm Brogdon (achilles), and TJ Warren (foot) while Goga Bitadze (foot) and Oshae Brissett (ankle) are game-time decisions for tonight’s contest. The visiting Clippers are coming off a 115-90 road win over the Charlotte Hornets last night. The Clippers will close out a long 8-game road trip tonight in Indiana and have won 4 of their 7 games so far by an average margin of 9 points in that span. Los Angeles will continue to play without Paul George (elbow) and Kawhi Leonard (knee) while Nicholas Batum (back) is a game-time decision for tonight’s contest.
The Clippers have defeated the Pacers in each of their last 5 meetings by an average margin of 13.4 points including the last 2 meetings in Indiana by an average margin of 11 points. Additionally, Indiana’s Domantas Sabonis is only averaging 12.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in his 11 career games against the Clippers. Take the Clippers to close out an 8-game road trip by covering tonight’s spread.

MEM Grizzlies +3.5MEM Grizzlies @ PHI 76ers
Every bettor’s favorite road team in the NBA this season, the Memphis Grizzlies, will look to add to their impressive 17-8 away record against the spread as they visit Joel Embiid and the 76ers. Similarly to Embiid, the Grizzlies’ Ja Morant has been playing on a different level since 2022 started. He is averaging 30 points per game in his last 10 outings on almost 50% from the field and with Memphis ranking 3rd in the West, his name is mentioned in the MVP race quite often these days. The Grizzlies have covered in 13 of their last 16 games overall and they like playing Philly — they’ve beaten them 14 times in the last 17 meetings.
Philadelphia’s recent record is also worth admiring. The 76ers have won 14 of their last 17 games overall and in their last 15 they’ve covered the spread 10 times. With 35.2 points and 11 rebounds on almost 55% shooting from the field, Embiid has been a monster over the past 10 games for them and nobody appears to be able to stop this man. Embiid’s career high against Memphis is an interesting stat. He has played them just 6 times in his career and the most points he’s scored was 16, in 2018. He is surely going to surpass that tonight, but I am not so sure the Sixers can cover at home. Even though they’ve won 4 in a row, those wins were against mediocre teams in San Antonio, New Orleans, the Lakers, and the Kings. Memphis is the NBA’s best road team against the spread and they should have enough to take care of Philly. Go with the road team and the points.

12 March Sure Bets And Accumulators

NO Pelicans +7.5NO Pelicans @ CLE Cavaliers
On Monday, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the New Orleans Pelicans at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Cleveland is coming off a tough loss to the Detroit Pistons yesterday — a game in which the Cavaliers led by as many as 15 points, but were outscored 26-7 to end regulation. At the time of writing, Cleveland has not posted an injury report for tonight’s action, but it is likely that they will continue to be without Lauri Markkanen, who has not played since January 22. Per Cleaning the Glass, when Markkanen, Collin Sexton, and Ricky Rubio have been off the floor at the same time this year, Cleveland ranks in the 20th percentile in offensive efficiency and the 70th percentile in defensive efficiency.
New Orleans has listed Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, and Jonas Valanciunas as questionable. Hart, Ingram, and Valanciunas are 3 of the Pelicans’ 4 leading scorers, and rebounders, and 2 of their top 3 passers. Having little clarity on whether or not these key pieces will suit up, it is extremely difficult to make a firm recommendation on this game. If New Orleans has Hart, Ingram, and Valanciunas in the lineup tonight, the Pelicans should be able to easily cover the large spread currently on the market. However, bettors would be wise to seek confirmation of their availability before locking in any action. If choosing to place a wager early in the day, New Orleans is the smart lean with the Cavaliers on a back-to-back and missing a couple of key pieces.

BOS Celtics -3.5MIA Heat @ BOS Celtics
Fatigue could be an issue for the Miami Heat tonight as they head to Boston just 2 days after an exhausting triple-overtime home game against the Toronto Raptors. In total 4 Heat players played 45 or more minutes, led by Jimmy Butler, who clocked in 52 minutes and finished with a 37-point, 14-rebound, 10-assists triple double, but Miami still lost the game. Butler is officially listed as questionable for this game with an ankle issue, so even if he does play he won’t be at 100%, and that’s something the Celtics can take advantage of. Miami has already lost once to the Celtics this season, in a game that finished 95-78 in early November.
Boston played on the same day as Miami, but they got the job done in 48 minutes so they’ll be a lot fresher. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each scored more than 30 points in the 10-point win over New Orleans, and they’ve now scored 30 or more in 2 of the last 3 games. The Heat could have their hands full with them tonight. The Celtics have picked it up lately with 8 wins in their last 12 games and they enter tonight’s game as 3.5-point favorites. In that role this season they’ve won 21 of 33 games and with a 16-10 home record I really like their chances. The Celtics have had issues with consistency, but it seems like they’ve turned the corner on that. Miami will probably play their starters a bit less after that grueling home game against Toronto, and that should be advantage Boston. With the Celtics already having beaten the Heat by 17 points this season, I’m confident they can cover at home.

November 11 NBA Betting Analysis And Predictions

TOR Raptors +1.5TOR Raptors @ ATL Hawks
Toronto won an exciting triple-overtime game at Miami on Saturday night. The win pushed the Raptors back over .500 for the season but it also emphasized the depth challenges they have. In the win, all 5 starters played more than 50 minutes. They scored 124 points, but only 9 came from the bench. There are a lot of rumors around the Raptors for trades as they try and find some legitimate depth. They need it. Atlanta is playing back-to-back but the Hawks are on their best run of the season. Their win over the Lakers yesterday was their 7th in a row, all covers too. Atlanta has mixed things up a little lately with Kevin Huerter in the starting lineup and Bogdan Bogdanovic coming off the bench. It is not an accident that as big man Onyeka Okongwu has become more comfortable on the court, he has been a major factor. He helps to keep Clint Capela fresh and gives them another defensive presence up front.
Both of these teams are coming off emotionally and physically draining wins. Toronto gets the nod because the Raptors have had a day to recover, while Atlanta played yesterday, needing a furious comeback in the 4th quarter to beat the Lakers. When playing with zero rest they are just 3-5 SUATS this season and there could be a hangover effect. Toronto is not playing with much depth, but the Raptors can hang with any team in the league and their coach has shown he is willing to push those players. Take Toronto.

HOU Rockets +10.5GS Warriors @ HOU Rockets
These teams met earlier this month, with the Houston Rockets falling in a tight 105-103 contest. Now taking on the same Golden State Warriors team in Houston, they should be confident that they can be competitive once more tonight. The Warriors are in second place in the Western Conference due to their incredible home form but they have had more issues on the road. They have 13 wins from 22 games, with a point differential of +1.9 in those games. The Warriors have only 2 wins by double-digit margins in their last 8 games. They are also dealing with several injuries. Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Otto Porter Jr. remain out for them while Nemanja Bjelica is questionable. That could leave their rotation short tonight. For the Rockets, only Kevin Porter Jr. is listed as questionable.
We could see a big night from Christian Wood tonight as he will have a favorable matchup against Kevon Looney. The Warriors center does not have the skill set to keep Wood occupied on the offensive end, which should allow him to focus on scoring. The Rockets can have issues defensively, but they will benefit from Stephen Curry struggling for form. His points average has dropped to 21.1 points per game in January, with only 1 game of 20 or more points in his last 4 outings. If they can keep him to another low-scoring night, the Rockets should have enough of their own weapons to keep pace.

  Daily Betting Predictions 10 January

POR Trail Blazers -4.0POR Trail Blazers @ OKC Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves on a 7-game losing streak, with just 1 win in January. To make matters worse, they have just been rocked by the news that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be out until after the All-Star break at least. Without their star guard, it will be tough for them to turn their current poor form around. They will be hosting the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, who have been getting great production from their backcourt. CJ McCollum and Anfernee Simons have scored at least 20 points each in their last 3 games and should be able to outscore a Thunder backcourt without their star.
The Thunder have a real lack of size on the interior, which should allow Jusuf Nurkic to have a big night for the Trail Blazers. The center is averaging 17.5 points and 12.4 rebounds per game this month and should dominate proceedings in the paint. The hosts have the worst offensive rating in the NBA in January and should struggle to contain a Portland team who have at least 4 players capable of dropping 20 or more points on a nightly basis. The Thunder have lost all 5 of their games without Gilgeous-Alexander this season, and the same should be the case here. Back the Trail Blazers to cover.
